The Reason

A complete metamorphosis of an unexpected small inheritance and a VW van.
In the memory of two spirits set free on a wild Welsh wind during the October of 2014.

Black Canons

South along Watling Street to a home built for the Drysden family from the remains of an old priory. This is my human's first venture into Southern Northamptonshire.

An unusually hot September day of 30 degrees, baked the ironstone walls and penetrated the normally cool interior.
This is an area that human Wilfrid did not explore other than perhaps passing through along the Roman road which he so much loved.

The monks known as Black Canons were Augustine and spent more time in the local ale house than at services.
The Priory was eventually reduced to a third of its size by "The Vicar from hell" a friend of Henry VIII.
This lovely home rose from the ashes.
