Branded

My humans have cleaned me up and named me Wilfrid, apparently the lettering is the signature of this adventurer they have already mentioned. So it seems like I am in for more mud, maybe I should have been the all wheel drive version. I do like my new signature this Wilfrid did his W like the VW logo, cool.

Insubordination

These humans I own seem to have more control over me than I over them, this can't be right, such insubordination! As you can see I was taken off Tarmac and my polished black paintwork treated to a mud bath. The views however were tremendous as the humans were on an AONB photographic shoot. I was left in a wild and windy field and heard talk about being named Wilfrid after the humans father, who loved wild remote places. So this seems to be my future, I hope they remember to wash me down occassionaly.

Independence Day

I now own two humans who have been trained to meet all my needs. I left my fellow VWs at Hillside Leisure and took the humans to my new location. On route we pulled over to enjoy Blithfield Resevoir before continuing to my parking place. All in all an enjoyable first trip.

Eclipsed

Today all the attention in the workshop is on me, all the other VWs have been ignored, even some great celestial event was only watched briefly. Tdi health check, final upgrades and finishing. It is rumoured that this will take until Wednesday when I am being handed over to some humans.

Workshop Clanger

Oh dear! Apparently I have been overlooked, work starts in earnest next week, something about "Pulling out all the stops" and lots of apologies. Will report on progress.

Workshop whispers

Whispers throughout the workshop of conversations overheard. Some humans have been enquiring about the progress of my metamorphosis. Not sure if I am ready to hit the trails yet, nervous anticipation.

Metamorphosis

I am being transformed from an abused VW panel van to a handsome black, pop top camper. Most of the work feels done and I am just waiting for the final finishing touches, health check and some major surgery and tow ball for a bike carrier. Soon the rambling begins........
