The Reason

A complete metamorphosis of an unexpected small inheritance and a VW van.
In the memory of two spirits set free on a wild Welsh wind during the October of 2014.

Bloomin Cheek

Parked in a bush, my humans have no regard for my paint work.

Then used as a plant transporter, they have absolutely no respect for my status.

I'm a VW Campervan not a VW Transporter!

Mist and Wild Winds

Travelled from home to Aberystwyth in an amazing 27 degrees.

But approaching the campsite a huge bank of white mist engulfed me.

I drove my humans into a damp world of winter at 11 degrees.

Wales!!!!!!

Next day though all was fantastic and I bathed in sunshine and my humans spent the day grilling, sorry chilling themselves.

The shape of the trees should have been a warning of how most of this coasts weather looks.

So lots of additional straps and crossed tent pegs were employed to keep me all together.

A note to Bumblbee, you think your humans had a foreign Windy adventure, this cliff top site in Wales kept my humans and me rocking for days.

Around the bend

My human felt I should know what was around the bend from my last post, I have to accept it does look difficult to ride up.

Humph! No pictures of me but he takes pictures of  scrap, lets see this heap of rust welcome him back, make him coffee, transport his bike and get him home.

Humans comment .... sorry Wilfrid but there's something quite beautiful about rusty old vehicles. But perhaps not in 25 sq miles of AONB designated landscape.

Eggciting Easter

Easter Sunday surprised me and my human by starting the day with blue skies and brilliant sunshine with a cold biting wind. So before the preparations begin for a family get together my human could not resist a dash on his mountain bike, but I worry, where was he going, what was he thinking 🤔?

Not a very welcoming sort of place this Cannock Chase.

He returned very muddy, he says he only walked up one hill, this is it and it does not look very steep to me.

NOTE FROM WILFIDS HUMAN ....... Wilfrid you have no idea what was in store around the corner even your 2 litre engine would not have got you up that track.
