The Reason

A complete metamorphosis of an unexpected small inheritance and a VW van.
In the memory of two spirits set free on a wild Welsh wind during the October of 2014.

Two wheel road Trip

Today was the dummy run for Daves two wheel road trip Rugeley to the top of Snowdon in one day on a bike, impressive!  From Prestatyn the ride gets interesting, I dropped him off at Conway so that he could test out the route to Bangor on his bike.

Through the historic typical British holiday town off Llandudno and across the Conway bridge.

The dark Llanberis pass infamous for human Wilfrid's tandem run with Peggy. We also passed many more of Wilfrid's favourite places.

Corundum, in July I have to get to this cottage, looking at the drive and turn from the road, how?

My human does not seem concerned perhaps he should be.

How comfortable am I?

I worked my magic. She takes after my human, siesta time. I took my humans and their Grandchildren to the Wild Life Trust and one fell asleep for one and a half hours. My human took advantage of the peace, whilst the other three went off exploring the wild life.

The pecking order, blooming cheek!

5.30 am and I am being used a s a bird bath! I am affronted!

Atishoo, atishoo we all fall down.

On a hot sunny Thursday I transported my humans to a picturesque village in the Derbyshire Dales, looked and felt very tranquil but there was a dark history.
But summer had arrived and all was well.

I rocked and rolled all the way home. My humans were playing Fairport Convention songs not as good as Mr B in my opinion.

My human loves this Norman glass, how did they get such strong colours?

North Country Fair

No need for "a coat so warm" as my humans headed for North Wales for a cycle ride through Victorian splendour "All along the watch tower".

At 26 degrees c I am glad they left me in the shade with views over water whilst they went off on a 12 mile jaunt.

Off on their bikes "forever young" their hair "Blowin in the wind".

Does my human know she should not ride in the middle of the dam? "Just like a woman".

Heavens door, paradise!

I trust this bridge does not tremble at midnight. I think my humans Boots may be made from Spanish leather but I won't draw conclusions on the wall.

Today my humans other musical hero is Seventy Six. Happy birthday Bob.

Luthiers and Victorians

An early start to Hampton Magna to visit my humans Luthier, all harmonious again.

With statues like this greeting me at the gates I felt a little nervous. Victorian? This house looks a tad older to me, my human must have completely lost the plot. I know for certain William Shakespeare was in trouble for poaching here and it's been the home of the Lucy family for at least 800 years.

Tudor Ramblings

My humans went to a family gathering in Herefordshire which didn't go like they had planned, one of my humans sisters had taken a fall. Very wet over night and I had the only pitch that flooded. Still I kept my humans dry.
Black and White buildings, great pubs and a visit to Ludlow. Herefordshire and Shropshire two wonderful counties.

Artistic Industrial Revolution

My humans visited The Secret Severn an exhibition of artists who live in and around the birthplace of industry. In warehouses, factories and public houses.

Human Wilfrid enjoyed visiting Ironbridge on his Sunday fternoon drive abouts.

A Bit of Class
