Hard ground and clear skies

My human and his friend leave me parked on frosty ground and plan to complete a 20k ride. This is Dave my humans friend high above Sherbrooke Valley admiring the view.

Human Wilfrid would often bring his family to this area and park on the west side of this valley but he probably never saw it like this in a hard frost and early morning winter sun.

Thin winter light

An early cold winter morning found me covered with a hard frost but that did not deter my human from loading his mountain bike and heading for the hills.

Slowly the morning brightened and blue skies and sunshine eventually returned the frozen patches of water into liquid.
Human Wilfrid enjoyed early mornings he liked arriving at holiday destinations at dawn to enjoy the thin light and peace. Wilfrid would have loved this day.

My human returned some 3 hours later with a very dirty bike.
